I have answered to many names. Jareth will do for this evening.
I knew Kansas City when the river brought strangers to its banks and the railroads brought fortunes to the Bottoms. I remember the saloons, the music behind closed doors, and the people whose names never made it into the histories.
You may have heard stories of Hell’s Half Acre. Perhaps you have wondered how much of a city’s past can be buried beneath a new street.
Over supper, I will tell you what I remember. Of this city. Of those I loved. Of the things I did to remain here.

The evening

the eyes of a vampire.
Dinner, live music, and a story told by three actors. Between the courses, Jareth and his companions revisit the lives, loves, and secrets that have tied him to Kansas City. As their accounts unfold, you must decide whose version to believe.
Drawing on the history and folklore explored in Apparition’s Hell’s Half Acre: Haunted History of Kansas City, the story follows the city from its riverfront and rail yards to its saloons and rooms where power changed hands.
